A Launch Page is $750. A Business Website starts at $1,500, and a Business Website Plus starts at $3,000. The final price depends on the agreed pages, content, and functionality, and you receive one fixed written price before work begins.
$30 a month covers hosting, your domain connection, security updates, and backups. You can make routine content updates — hours, prices, photos, offers — yourself in the editor. Done-for-you changes and new features are quoted separately, and you approve the price before any work starts. There is no retainer.
Your site does not get held hostage. The domain is yours, the content is yours, and I will export the site and hand over everything needed to move it elsewhere. Hosting has to be paid to someone — if you would rather that be another provider, or you decide to take the site in a different direction, I will help you move rather than make it difficult. The monthly is for a service, not leverage.
Sometimes you should. If your business needs a simple presence and you have the time and the eye for it, a builder is genuinely fine and I will tell you so. What you are paying me for is the part that is hard to hand off: deciding what the site should say, structuring it so search engines and customers both understand it, and writing the first draft so the pages actually get finished. Most DIY sites do not fail because the tool was bad — they stall half-built, or they say everything except the thing that makes someone call. You still get to run it yourself afterward; the editor is the same convenience a builder offers, without you having to design it.
No. The studio is based in Auburn and a lot of the work is nearby — that is where I know the customers and the competition firsthand, and local clients who want to meet in person can. But the work itself is not bound by geography. Projects run on a kickoff call, conversation as the site comes together, and a walkthrough call at launch, which works exactly the same whether you are ten minutes away or across the country. If you are outside the area and the fit is right, I am glad to take the project.
Every project includes a kickoff call to set direction and a walkthrough call at launch to hand over the site and the editor. In between, we talk as often as the work needs — some owners want to see every stage, others would rather hand over their notes and see it when it is ready. Both are fine. You can reach me directly by email or phone the whole time, and I do not bill by the hour or meter conversations.
The build is rarely the slow part. A Launch Page is often live within a week of your content being ready, and a Business Website typically takes two to three weeks. Your proposal includes the schedule and which dates each of us is responsible for.
Yes — that’s the point. Every build includes a private editor for business details, services, page copy, images, offers, and common questions. Most owners never need me for routine changes.
No. You bring the facts — notes, bullet points, an old site, or a conversation — and I write the first draft of every page. You correct what I got wrong and approve. Photos stay yours to provide; I handle selection and optimization.
